Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney career started differently from the other singers I have written about on my blog. He became interested in music in college and started to perform with a college band called Bluegrass. He had a few failures in life though. Some of the places he has sung at were not that big and were not going to get his career started. His career started after he had his first big hit "She's Got it All." He sings songs such as "Better As a Memory," "Shift Work," "Just Not Today," and many more songs from the album Just Who I Am.
Some of his songs make a lot of sense and some people seem to relate to those songs in some way. I have been inspired by some of his songs but I can't really relate to his songs. My favorite song that he has sung is "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven." I like the tune of this song. It seems to get my attention every time it comes on.

Jennifer Nettles

Jennifer Nettles started her career at a young age. Her mother encouraged her to listen to music. She sang at her church and at some school performance. In the year1999, she performed in a band. She then performed in band called Sugarland. In the band was Kristen Hall, Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles. Some songs they sing are known as "All I Want To Do," "It Happens," Love," and many more from the album All I Want To Do.
I chose Jennifer Nettles for my blog this week because she belongs to a band known as Sugarland, but has also sung solo. My favorite song sung by Sugarland is "All I Want To Do." I like this song because I think it is fun to dance to. She is a wonderful singer and now those who read my blog will know some more about her. ( last.fm )

Kellie Pickler

Kellie Pickler was abandoned by her mom when she was just two and her dad was in and out of jail. She was raised by her grandparents in North Carolina. In high school she became a cheerleader and also snag at her graduation. She auditioned for the sixth season of American Idol and made it to American Idol. She was soon voted off American Idol but was recognized by many other companies. She is one of the youngest country music artists. Kellie's debut album is Small Town Girl. The album contains songs such a "Small Town Girl," "My Angel," "Red High Heels," and many other famous songs.
I picked Kellie Pickler for my blog this week because I think that she has a wonderful voice and has amazing songs. She seemed to have had a hard life when she was younger. I guess that some of those who may be fortunate now were not that fortunate as a child. She is the perfect person for my blog this week. Shania Twain

Shania Twain is also a country singer. She was born in Canada and is the oldest of five siblings. Her family struggled to keep food in the house, but they always had some kind of music. Shania said that the music she listened to influenced her vocal style. She was singing ever since she was a little girl. From radios to nursing homes, she was everywhere. She lost her parents in 1987 at the age of twenty-one. They died in an automobile accident. She sings the songs "Up," "I'm Gonna Getcha Good," "She's Not Just a Pretty Face," and many more from the album Up.
I chose Shania for my blog this week because I have not heard her on the radio and miss her songs. My favorite song sung by her is "Party for Two." I like this song because I like how in the music video they swing from the chandelier and get back on the table. The song with the music video shows that the song is fun to dance and sing to. I love her voice and believe that she is a wonderful singer.

Carrie Underwood won American Idol which started her career as a country singer. This year she won the Entertainer of the Year. "Before He Cheats", sung by Carrie Underwood won number one cheating song. She sings other songs such as "Flat on the Floor", "All American Girl", "So Small", "Just a Dream' and many more from the album Carnival Ride.
I chose Carrie Underwood for my blog this week because I believe that she is a great singer. My favorite song sung by her is "Don't Forget To Remember Me." It is a song about a girl who knows she has made mistakes in life but she does not want to be forgotten. I listen to this song a lot. I think she has songs that inspire many.

Introduction

This blog is about country artists that I like. I will have a picture of the country singer. In the information about the singer I will include a few songs that they have sung and the album that the song is from. I will tell a few things that i think is important about the singer and I will tell you what I like the most about the singer. I will also say why I chose this singer.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is a very known artist. She has sung many songs over the years. Her album Fearless is her second studio album. The CD contains the songs "Fearless", "Fifteen", "Love Story", "Hey Stephen", and many more popular songs. She released her first album when she was sixteen and then she became a popular young artist. She started her career when she became part of a children theater group.
I picked Taylor Swift for this week because many of the things she says on talk shows inspire me. My favorite song sung by her is "Hey Stephen". I like that song because it is fun to dance to and seems like a fun song to sing. I am a fan of Taylor and believe she is a great country singer.
