Shania Twain

Shania Twain is also a country singer. She was born in Canada and is the oldest of five siblings. Her family struggled to keep food in the house, but they always had some kind of music. Shania said that the music she listened to influenced her vocal style. She was singing ever since she was a little girl. From radios to nursing homes, she was everywhere. She lost her parents in 1987 at the age of twenty-one. They died in an automobile accident. She sings the songs "Up," "I'm Gonna Getcha Good," "She's Not Just a Pretty Face," and many more from the album Up.
I chose Shania for my blog this week because I have not heard her on the radio and miss her songs. My favorite song sung by her is "Party for Two." I like this song because I like how in the music video they swing from the chandelier and get back on the table. The song with the music video shows that the song is fun to dance and sing to. I love her voice and believe that she is a wonderful singer.

Carrie Underwood won American Idol which started her career as a country singer. This year she won the Entertainer of the Year. "Before He Cheats", sung by Carrie Underwood won number one cheating song. She sings other songs such as "Flat on the Floor", "All American Girl", "So Small", "Just a Dream' and many more from the album Carnival Ride.
I chose Carrie Underwood for my blog this week because I believe that she is a great singer. My favorite song sung by her is "Don't Forget To Remember Me." It is a song about a girl who knows she has made mistakes in life but she does not want to be forgotten. I listen to this song a lot. I think she has songs that inspire many.

This blog is about country artists that I like. I will have a picture of the country singer. In the information about the singer I will include a few songs that they have sung and the album that the song is from. I will tell a few things that i think is important about the singer and I will tell you what I like the most about the singer. I will also say why I chose this singer.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is a very known artist. She has sung many songs over the years. Her album Fearless is her second studio album. The CD contains the songs "Fearless", "Fifteen", "Love Story", "Hey Stephen", and many more popular songs. She released her first album when she was sixteen and then she became a popular young artist. She started her career when she became part of a children theater group.
I picked Taylor Swift for this week because many of the things she says on talk shows inspire me. My favorite song sung by her is "Hey Stephen". I like that song because it is fun to dance to and seems like a fun song to sing. I am a fan of Taylor and believe she is a great country singer.
